Biography

Spyridon N. Litsas is Associate Professor of International Relations at the University of Macedonia; Visiting Professor of International Relations at the University of Grenoble (Sciences Po) France; Visiting Professor of International Relations and Strategy at the Supreme Joint War College of the Hellenic Army.

He obtained his Doctorate of Philosophy in International Relations from Durham University, UK and is an Alumnus of the Study of the US Institutes for Scholars, Class 2015, specialized in the US Foreign Policy, of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State.

He has been published extensively in Greek and in English by reputable Publishing Houses such as Piotita Publictions, Routledge, Macmillan Press, Springer International, Rowman & Littlefield etc.

He is a frequent contributor with opinion editorials on Greek and EU politics, International Politics and Strategy in various newspapers and journals such as To Vima, Kathimerini, Capital.gr, Newpost.gr, The Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies etc.

Last but not least, he initiated the ‘Debates Club Society’ at the University of Macedonia. He is married and has one daughter.
