Tachiaou Christina

Born in Thessaloniki, graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and speaks English, French and German.

She has been working as a journalist for the past 20 years in media (Press, web, radio) and is a member of the Union of Journalists of Daily Newspapers of Macedonia and Thrace.

Elected member of the Hellenic Parliament in the elections of 25th January 2015, served until September 2015.

Litsas Spyridon

Spyridon N. Litsas is Associate Professor of International Relations at the University of Macedonia; Visiting Professor of International Relations at the University of Grenoble (Sciences Po) France; Visiting Professor of International Relations and Strategy at the Supreme Joint War College of the Hellenic Army.

He obtained his Doctorate of Philosophy in International Relations from Durham University, UK and is an Alumnus of the Study of the US Institutes for Scholars, Class 2015, specialized in the US Foreign Policy, of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State.

He has been published extensively in Greek and in English by reputable Publishing Houses such as Piotita Publictions, Routledge, Macmillan Press, Springer International, Rowman & Littlefield etc.

He is a frequent contributor with opinion editorials on Greek and EU politics, International Politics and Strategy in various newspapers and journals such as To Vima, Kathimerini, Capital.gr, Newpost.gr, The Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies etc.

Last but not least, he initiated the ‘Debates Club Society’ at the University of Macedonia. He is married and has one daughter.

Tsalidis Filippos

TRAINOSE’s Managing Director, Professor Filippos Tsalidis, holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and has served as Vice Rector at the Democritus University of Thrace from 1997 to 2003.

He was elected into the Hellenic Parliament (2004-2007). In 2008, he was appointed Secretary General for Research and Technology at the Ministry of Development. He served as Deputy Minister for Internal Affairs and Administration’s Reconstruction (Caretaker Government, August-September 2015).

He holds the position of Managing Director of TRAINOSE since 2016.

Spirtounias Elias

After graduation from the School of Mathematics of the University of Athens, Elias Spirtounias completed his graduate studies at the School of Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. studies) at Boston University. During his residence in the United States, he participated as a Research Engineer in several programs in co-operation with other organizations and companies such as NASA, MIT, UNH, working mainly in the fields of analog and digital electronics circuits design and applications. He returned to Greece in 1992 and after completing his military service in 1994, he held the position of Technical Director for the subsidiary of the Italian company CitecSpA., a company specialized in the design, production and application of voice and image processing systems.  From 1997 until February 2009, he worked for the Foundation of the Hellenic World, a major Greek non-profit cultural organization starting as a Construction Supervisor and continuing as a Director of the Cultural Center “Hellenic Cosmos”. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the expansion, development and operation of the Center and its establishment as one of the most known cultural sites in Greece and abroad. From March 2009, Elias Spirtounias holds the position of Executive Director of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

Nicolaides Eleni

Eleni is among the founding members and currently serves as the Director of Alliance For Digital Employability (AFDEmp), an initiative that aims to decrease unemployment in Greece by re-skilling 500,000 individuals and facilitating their placement in the ICT sector.
She is also the New Business Development Manager at PeopleCert, being responsible for the identification, evaluation and implementation of new endeavors.
Further, Eleni serves as Director of the Hellenic Professionals Informatics Society (HePIS), the Greek Member Society of the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS). HePIS represents over 3.500 ICT students and professionals while over 25.000 candidates have participated in activities organised by HePIS aiming to enhance their digital skills.
Eleni’s background is in investment banking and venture capital industries, with focus on the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector. She remains passionate and actively involved in the tech startup ecosystem.
She holds a BSc in Business Administration from the American College of Greece, an MSc in Sociology from the University of Oxford and is certified in Corporate Finance from the London Business School. Eleni has also completed a gap year as a volunteer in Ghana, Africa and in Mumbai, India.

Costopoulos Alexandros

Alexandros Costopoulos is a communications strategist, renowned speaker and seasoned contributor to leading intl’ and Greek media on communications, credibility, soft skills and U.S. relations.
Founder and CEO of FORESIGHT Communications, Alex has collaborated with distinguished individuals and prominent organizations from the political, academic and business spheres in the United States, Greece and the broader southeast European region, providing critical insight and developing bespoke results driven strategies and tactics related to public affairs, reputation management, public diplomacy, civil society engagement and American affairs.
He is an elected member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the American‐ Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Director for Greece of American Citizens Abroad and Co‐founder of the Institute for Regional Dialogue and Strategy.

Anastasopoulos Simos

Simos Anastasopoulos is a graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After his studies in Michigan he worked for two years for General Motors Corporation, as a development Engineer at the Milford Proving Ground. In 1986 he returned in Greece, and after completion of his military service he joined PETSIAVAS S.A. Since 2002 he has been the Managing Director of the company, and from 2013 Chairman and CEO of PETSIAVAS S.A. In June 2013 he was elected President of the American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, and he is also a member of the Pan-Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Industries and member of the General Council of SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises. Simos Anastasopoulos was born in Athens in 1957, is married to Peggy Petsiavas and has two daughters.

Horianopoulos Manos

Manos Horianopoulos is Editorial Director of 24 Media, at which he has been since May 2007. He has served as Managing Editor of News 24/7 and Director of "Ethnos" newspaper.

Michalopoulos Theodosis

Theodosis Michalopoulos is the Enterprise Business & Public Sector Director for Greece, Cyprus & Malta, leading a senior team of Sales & Technical experts, while managing the top accounts in the region. Theodosis joined Microsoft Greece, Cyprus & Malta in 2014, as a Consumer & Devices Director.

Before joining Microsoft, he served in various Marketing & Sales managerial positions in Vodafone Greece and Wind Hellas.

Theodosis holds a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex, an MSc in Communications & Signal Processing from the Imperial College of Science & Technology of London and an MBA from Athens Laboratory of Business Administration.
